Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) begins March 23! -The stress reduction program is an 8 week course modeled on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program founded in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. During its 30 year existence, MBSR has been well researched. MBSR has become an internationally acclaimed mind-body program designed to train people in mindfulness meditation practices so as to more effectively deal with stress, physical and psychological pain, illness and the pressure and demands of everyday living. The Shirt Factory Artists Association announces its 8th Annual Holiday Open House.
The Holiday Open House begins with a preview on Friday November 27, from 5-8 p.m.,
and continues on Saturday November 28 and Sunday November 29 from 10 am - 5 p.m. each day.
Over 30 artists will be exhibiting their art and fine crafts throughout the building.
